Men still have trouble recognizing that a woman can be complex, can have ambition, good looks, sexuality, erudition and common sense. A woman can have all those facets, and yet men, in literature and in drama, seem to need to simplify women, to polarize us as either the whore or the angel. - Natalie Dormer
"Clothes are really important to me, they give me that feeling of happiness. I love being a bit free with it all and not giving myself rules.”
"I started to write an apology, but I don’t have anything to say I’m sorry for. I was in a loving, healthy, great relationship for four years. It was long distance, and either your boyfriend is going to look at porn or he’s going to look at you.”- Jennifer Lawrence, Vanity Fair
People don’t come to see freaks in the heat of the day. They come in the evening. When the darkness moves in and speaks of mystery. The unknown. When logic loosen up its vice grip and the imagination comes out to play. The night allows the stars to shine and we come alive.
#this is scene is so important because Lydia has been interacting with the sheriff just as much if not more than stiles this season. #and it makes me so proud because this man was giving stiles advice about how to handle in his crush on this girl in s2 #and not to mention how many times stiles has talked about Lydia when he was well into his sophomore year in high school. #fast forward we now see Lydia & stiles dad interacting with each other and his reaction to her in this scene reminds me of all the times he rolled his eyes at something stiles did. #comparing his scenes with Allison in 3b he was a comforting shoulder for Allison to cry on. # In these scenes with Lydia it’s like he’s talking to the female stiles #I know people are bummed about Lydia being left out the group in the finale but as stydia fan this is good #because she’s with stiles’ dad and she knows that there is no one In this world that’s more important to stiles than his dad and the sheriff knows how important Lydia is to stiles. #this could be really good #im rambling #bye.

tumblr taught me so much about representation tho…. today i literally can’t watch a film without thinking
"why is everyone so white"
"why is everyone straight"
Often, joking for me is a way of diffusing the awkwardness of a situation, so it’s kind of exhilarating to be a part of projects where there’s nothing funny or lighthearted.
